Please note that as of January 31, 2012, the Building Department will be reviewing all Permits/Approvals for Sewage Systems within the Town of Saugeen Shores. Guidelines and applications can be downloaded on line.

CALL BEFORE YOU DIG (Effective January 1, 2012)

Are you putting in fence posts, planting a tree, excavating for a pool, deck or a new addition? Before you dig, think about what services might be buried in the ground because what you can't see can hurt you.

Ontario One Call

The Town of Saugeen Shores is now a member of Ontario One Call. This is a FREE locate service to help you protect yourself and others from unnecessary damage. The location of the spots you should avoid are marked with specific colour codes (paint, stakes or flags), depending on the utility involved. Ontario One Call will contact the Town for sewer and water, as well as streetlight locates.
