Home Ownership and Repair Programs

The County of Bruce is offering two funding programs.

The Home Ownership Program is designed to provide renters with a forgivable loan to assist in purchasing a home that does not exceed a purchase price of $214,200.00  Assistance is available for 5% of the purchase price.  Program Application

The Home Repair Program is designed to improve the living conditions of low to moderate households in need through financial assistance to home repair deficiencies, energy-efficiency upgrades and accessibility upgrades for persons with disabilities.  The program provides assistance in the form of a grant (under $3,500) or a forgivable loan. ($3,500 to $12,000). Repairs may include: insulation, roofs, electrical systems, plumbing and energy efficiency and other related home upgrades.  Program Application
