Recycling & Environmental Sales

The Town of Saugeen Shores actively supports recycling in the community.

• Blue boxes for recycling can be picked up from the Municipal Office
• There is no charge for the initial blue box for the household, and a $7.00 fee for each subsequent blue box

• Door to door blue box recycling pickup is handled by Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling Association. Visit their website for additional tips and information about what should be recycled. Contact number 519-797-5557

Cardboard Recycling

Port Elgin: All municipal cardboard recycling bins are now located inside the gates at the Sewage Disposal Plant located on Lehnen Street (end of River Street).

Saugeen Twp.: At the Public Works Shop located on 339 Concession 6 

Southampton: All Municipal cardboard recycling bins are now located at the Southampton Landfill at 126 Concession 14
