Rotary Accessible Playground and Bruce Power Sensory Gardens

After an ambitious campaign to raised the $350,000 required to build the accessible playground and sensory gardens, the dream is now a reality.  The goal was to construct a playground that is so inviting and sensory rich that it delights every child who approaches, while offering an opporutnity for all to play...and we've heard that this unique attraction does just that!  The innovative and uniquely designed structures can be reached and explored by all children whether walking or riding in a wheelchair. Children with disabilities can now revel in having the opportunity to challenge themselves alongside their peers. And, for the first time, many parents, grandparents and friends with physical limitations are able to share in the joy and excitement of a playground.
