“meet me at the flag in 2008”
150th Anniversary Weekend, Aug. 14-17, 2008
2008 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Southampton. To celebrate, the townspeople plan a year of special events, with the centrepiece being 150th Anniversary Weekend, Aug. 14-17. Pick up your 16 month ANNIVERSARY CALENDAR!
A committee of volunteers, the 150th Anniversary Committee, is planning a four-day celebration of town history and culture. Many local service clubs and arts, cultural and sporting groups will join in with their own events.
