Don’t block that plow! No overnight winter parking from November 1 to March 31

It's that time of the year again! Beginning November 1, in accordance with our Parking By-law, you may not park any vehicle overnight on municipal streets. Check our Parking App for other options.
Parking restrictions for snow clearing
In accordance with By-law 51-2013, Section 7.1 – Parking Prohibited – Signage not Required, no person shall park a vehicle:
  • on a Boulevard or shoulder;
  • on a Highway in such a position as to obstruct traffic;
  • on a Highway (Street) between the hours of 2:00 am and 8:00 am commencing November 1st and ending on March 31st, in every year;
  • in such a position as to interfere with the removal of snow from any Highway, sidewalk or parking lot in the Municipality;
Any vehicles in violation will be issued a ticket and/or removed at the owner’s expense.

Help snowplows keep the streets clear with ease and help traffic flow. You can also do your part by keeping garbage and recycling bins off sidewalks and streets so snowplows can get through.
