SSLC recognition SSLC takes home awards at National Surf Lifesaving Championships and Ontario Waterfront Lifesaving Championships
Saugeen Shores is celebrating water safety after two recent wins by the Saugeen Shores Lifesaving Club (SSLC) and a new, award-winning Waterfront Safety Guide.

The Town of Saugeen Shores posted a waterfront development building concept to the Town’s website in error. The early concept, which had been rejected by CAO David Smith, was posted on the website on September 9, 2019 but was removed moments later.

Film plastics launch Public can now drop off film plastics at two depots in town
The Town of Saugeen Shores is pleased to introduce film plastics recycling at two drop-off locations. The public can now bring plastics like grocery bags, toilet paper roll plastic packaging and bread bags to the depots. EFS-plastics Inc. in Listowel, Ontario will recycle accepted materials into plastic resin pellets to be used in manufacturing.
