Electronic Waste
We encourage you to bring your electronic waste (e-waste) to our Southampton Landfill at no charge. There, your old electronic items will be sent to recycling and processing facilities that dispose of your e-waste without affecting the environment.
We take part in the Ontario Electronic Stewardship program, which promotes the "3 R's" - reduce, reuse and recycle for all e-waste.
Acceptable items
You can drop off the following items at the landfill:

- Copiers and scanners
- Typewriters
- Telephones
- Phone accessories
- Cell phones
- Equalizers and (pre)amplifiers
- Video players and projectors
- PDAs and pagers
- Personal handheld devices

- Printing devices
- Radios
- Receivers
- Speakers
- Tuners
- Audio players
