Welcome to Spring Clean Week in beautiful Saugeen Shores! From April 19th to 26th, 2025, join us in making our community sparkle and shine. This week-long event is all about coming together to clean and celebrate our wonderful town.

Community Clean-up:

We invite individuals and groups to volunteer and help clean up local community areas and parks. Grab your gloves and garbage bags, and let's make Saugeen Shores pristine! Whether you're a solo volunteer or part of a group, your efforts will make a big difference in keeping our town beautiful.

How to get involved:

  • Volunteer: Sign up using the form below to clean up a park, beach, or community space. Simply fill out the form below with the date of your cleanup, location, and who will be joining you and we will prepare a cleanup kit for you. The kit includes garbage bags, gloves, and anything else you will need to collect litter.
  • Spread the Word: Share that you are participating in Spring Cleaning Week and challenge your friends, neighbors, or team mates to join you! 

Please signup with your group no later than April 14th so that we can prepare your cleanup kit

Q: What is Spring Clean Week? 
A: Spring Clean Week is a community event in Saugeen Shores from April 19th to 26th, 2025, dedicated to cleaning up local community areas and parks.
Q: How can I participate in the community clean-up? 
A: You can sign up to volunteer for clean-up crews. Whether you're an individual or part of a group, your help is greatly appreciated!
Q: Can I collect volunteer hours for high school?
A: Yes, If you require hours please email recreation@saugeenshores.ca before your cleanup
Q: Do I need to bring my own cleaning supplies? 
A: No, simply signup using the form above and we will organize a cleanup kit for you
Q: When can I pickup my cleanup kit?
A: Kits will be available for pickup from April 15 to 17 from 8:30am to 4:30pm at the Municipal Office
Q: Can children participate in the clean-up? 
A: Yes, children are welcome to join the clean-up efforts. We recommend that they be supervised by an adult for safety.
Q: Can I take photos during our cleanup?
A: Yes, Absolutely! In fact it is encouraged, especially if you find anything interesting!
Q: Does my group need to take the waste to the landfill or take it home? 
A: No, simply let us know when you are done your cleanup and where you left the waste and our crews will come by and pick it up.
