2024 National Indigenous Peoples Day
On National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the innumerable contributions, distinct heritage, and diverse cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada.
“I am proud to once again raise the flag of Saugeen First Nation as we celebrate local Indigenous communities and I encourage all to take time to discover and support Indigenous authors, artists, and local businesses.,” said Mayor Charbonneau. “Our Town remains committed to being a collaborative and supportive partner to neighbouring First Nations guided by the principles of Truth and Reconciliation.”
