Sidewalk Patio and Sidewalk Cafes
Are you interested in setting up an outdoor patio or café area for your business this summer?
A Patio Application is required for any business setting up a patio on municipally owned property. This includes patios with railings/boundaries and those setting up tables and chairs.
There is no cost to submit an application and Heather Hyde, Economic Development Officer, is available to support businesses through the simple application process.

Regional Tourism Organization 7 (RTO7) offers training and coaching opportunities, and partnership grants for businesses operating in the tourism space.

The Saugeen Shores Visitor Survey is now open! Help us gather valuable information about our travel and tourism industry! Click the link below to complete the survey for Saugeen Shores.
Those who complete the survey will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a kayak paddling prize package for four paddlers from Thorncrest Outfitters valued at $200. Draw to take place August 31, 2023.

Pride Month
This June, the Town raised the Progress Pride flag to celebrate and support our 2SLGBTQI+ community.
Additionally, Saugeen Shores launched its first pride window decal program.
Over 40 window decals were delivered to local businesses who demonstrated their commitment to Diversity, Inclusion and Equity.
