UpSkill Tourism Micro-credential Program
Since its inception in fall 2022, the program has issued 544 digital badges and has upskilled/reskilled 123 individuals.
UpSkill is looking to launch a video campaign to capture locations and staff working in the tourism industry that they are educating. They would like to use these videos and interviews in the modules adding an element of authenticity to the learning, while simultaneously highlighting local locations. They are also hoping to interview some executives and managers to further the content and add a personal element to the modules.
If you are interested in your location and team being featured in these videos, please reach out to Pierre Valley at the County of Bruce at PValley@brucecounty.on.ca.
Registration for the fall 2023 semester opens at the end of June for September intake. Please encourage your staff to enroll in the program.
