Snow Storm Warning - Jan 23 2023

Environment Canada is predicting a major snowstorm starting on Wednesday.
Threats include:
- significant snowfall: 8-12 centimetres of accumulation, starting mid-morning.
- possible mix with rain
These elements may cause hazardous travel conditions:
- blowing snow causing poor visibility
- slippery surfaces from accumulating snow
There is also the risk of isolated utility outages due to the amount of snow. If that mixes with rain, it becomes heavy and down power lines.
The timing for these elements remain subject to change.
