Southampton Road Closures

Southampton Road Closures, No Through Traffic and Detours:

Please be advised that the following Road Closures will be in effect from Monday August 9, 2021 until December 15, 2021 unless otherwise specified to facilitate the reconstruction of Beach Road. All local residents and emergency services will be permitted access regardless of closure where it can be accommodated (based on active trenches).

Active Detour Routes have been posted and signed. Pedestrians and bicycles are not permitted within the active construction zone on Beach Road from Front Street to Huron Street and Huron Street from Beach Road to Peel Street.

Closures:

• Beach Road: Front Street to Huron Street
• Huron Street: Beach Road to Peel Street

No Through Traffic:

• Peel Street: Knowles Lane to Laird Land
• Laird Lane: Adelaide Street to Peel Street
• Huron Street: Island Street to Adelaide Street
• Macauley Street: Adelaide Street to Beach Road
• Lake Street: Island Street to Adelaide Street

Detours:

Detours are posted as D1, D2 and D3 and are depicted on the attached Figure.
