Southampton Santa Claus Parade Details

Some information for those who are attending our Santa Claus Parade in Southampton (SANTA'S COMING!!!)

1. The parade starts at Victoria St. this year -- not Grey St.  -- to avoid blocking access to the hospital. 
2. The float line-up is on Victoria St North this year. The parade will turn right onto High St. from Victoria St. heading west to Grosvenor St (see map above).  The parade will line-up in front of the museum/G.C. Huston. 
   • We ask that people not gather on the west side of Victoria St. N. -- nor at the intersection of Victoria and High St. -- unless you are in the parade. 
3. NOTE: Victoria St North will be CLOSED 6-7pm from High St to Saugeen St
4. NOTE: High St will be CLOSED from Victoria St North to Grosvenor St from 6:00-8:30pm.   A detour will be place for Highway 21.
5. The parade finishes by turning left on Grosvenor St.

Some things to remember to keep little ones (and not-so-little ones) safe:

• Stay well back from the parade and moving vehicles
• Avoid gathering at the intersections where the parade turns:
  • on the north side at High St and Victoria St, and
  • on the south side at High St and Grosvenor St. 
• Please be aware of your surroundings
• Everyone is excited to see Santa; please do not run up to the float
