Statement on the Passing of Former Southampton Mayor Lloyd Hale

It is with deep sadness that the Town of Saugeen Shores acknowledges the passing of former Southampton Mayor Lloyd Hale.

Mayor Hale served our community with distinction during his tenure as Southampton Mayor from 1980 to 1982. The Town remains grateful for his many contributions and dedicated service to our community.

As a mark of respect, I have directed that all municipal flags be flown at half-mast on March 13, the day of Mayor Hale’s funeral.

On behalf of Council and all residents of Saugeen Shores, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Mayor Hale's family and friends during this difficult time.
