Neighbourhood Information Session and Comments (Burns, MacAulay, Peel)
The community is invited to an in-person Neighborhood Information Session on Wednesday July 31, 2024, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre for the Burns Lane, MacAulay Street, and Peel Street reconstruction projects.
Overview:
During this session, certain design aspects of these street sections will be discussed, and the project team will review design alternatives. The final design will take into consideration the Cottage Streets Design Guidelines, and consultation with the community during this Neighborhood Information Session along with the first Neighborhood Information Sessions (previously held on June 17th, and June 19th).
Project: The project consists of the following parts:
Burns Lane (Adelaide Street to Lake Street)
- The replacement of the gravity sanitary sewer, the installation of storm drainage, and asphalt paving with other surface features to be determined.
MacAulay Street (Peel Street to Adelaide Street)
- The replacement of the gravity sanitary sewer, the replacement and extension of watermain, the installation of storm drainage, and asphalt paving with other surface features to be determined.
