Town Releases 2022 Annual Report

Council has received the Town’s 2022 Annual Report highlighting the Municipality’s successes in the last calendar year.

The report measures the Town’s achievements against the goals set out in the 2022 Business Plan.  The document shows the Major Initiatives and Divisional Highlights that Council and staff achieved and fulfilled; it also establishes a template for more detailed reporting in the 2023 Annual Report.

“This document highlights all the hard work we have done this year,” said Kara Van Myall, Chief Administrative Officer. “It also helps fulfill our promise to residents to make our work visible and to keep the administration accountable to the community.”

The document breaks down the Town’s accomplishments by Department and Division, and reports on their advancement. It also uses infographics to illustrate key numbers and provides comments from senior leaders and management on their departments.

This report is an excellent summation of 12 months of planning, engagement, and execution of the Town’s key priorities,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “I want to thank staff for presenting this information in a clear and concise manner.  I encourage everyone to read what the municipality is doing to ensure our community stays strong and prosperous.”

The document will serve as a template for the Town to expand upon in 2023. This is when staff will insert its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to show progress on major goals more precisely, as well as where the organization can improve.
