Subdivision Approval
Developers looking to build subdivisions in Saugeen Shores start by working with the County of Bruce Planning Department to have their project approved.
Once approval is given at the County level, the next step is to discuss your needs with the Town of Saugeen Shores Development team and complete an Application for Subdivision Approval form, which must align with the Saugeen Shores Official Plan.
Information about the Subdivision process is contained in our Development Guide.
Subdivision applications include requirements such as:
- Installation of infrastructure
- Monetary contributions
- Parkland dedication
- Other Town guidelines
