Saugeen Shores Heritage Property Plaque Program
The Saugeen Shores Heritage Property Plaque Program Policy identifies architecturally historic properties that are usually than 100 years old and significant to the community's heritage. The plaques describe each historic building's year of construction, original owner, and their occupation at the time of construction.
The Municipal Heritage Committee runs this plaque program.
Saugeen Shores Heritage & Cultural Inventory
The Municipal Heritage Committee established the Heritage and Cultural Inventory to preserve the information and resources listed on our current Heritage Register.
The Town has created a Heritage Categories Chart to provide guidance to property owners on the classifications.
