Trappers in the County of Bruce must follow various guidelines and by-laws to remove animals from the community, such as nuisance beavers and coyotes.
Beaver Bounty
Trappers can apply and be compensated for the removal of nuisance beavers. The County of Bruce sets out the application process for trappers to remove of nuisance beavers.

You must complete a County of Bruce Land Owner Authorization Form and bring it, along with the tail of the beaver to the Saugeen Shores municipal office. A municipal officer will sign the compensation form and keep the beaver tail. It is your responsibility to dispose of the remaining beaver carcass.

Coyote and Wolf Bounties
Trappers can apply and be compensated for the removal of coyotes or wolves. The County of Bruce sets out the application process for trappers to remove nuisance coyotes or wolves.
You must complete a Coyote/Wolf Predation Compensation Claim Form and bring it to the Saugeen Shores municipal office.
