Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce
The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce provides a list of local social service providers and leisure groups.
Meals on Wheels delivers meals, your choice of hot or cold, every weekday to individuals who are having difficulty obtaining and/or preparing nutritious meals on a short-term or long-term basis. To get in touch contact Home & Community Support Services of Grey-Bruce.
Salvation Army Food Bank & Family Services
The Salvation Army Owen Sound - Saugeen Shores Family Services and Food Bank is a local option for those in need of their services.
United Way Bruce Grey and Community Connection offer 211 services. This service aligns information experts with callers to help them make sense of social, health, and government service information that is often buried within websites and social media channels, and spreads it throughout the network of partners and community leaders.
The service is offered in over 150 languages by phone, web, and text.
Also available through the United Way is the Utility Assistance Program, which provides grants of up to $500 or $700 per funding source or utility to low-income residents. The account needs to be in arrears, at risk of disconnection, or already disconnected.
