Help Shape the Future of Business in Saugeen Shores

The Town of Saugeen Shores is inviting local business owners and operators to complete a short Business Retention and Expansion survey.

Your feedback will help the Town better understand the needs, challenges, opportunities, and priorities of local businesses as we develop the 2027 Economic Development Plan.

The survey asks about your business, current conditions, future plans, workforce needs, barriers to growth, and how the Town and its partners can better support the local business community.

Survey responses will help identify common themes and opportunities across the business community. Individual responses will be reviewed by the Town for economic development planning purposes and will not be published as individual business responses.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for helping shape the future of economic development in Saugeen Shores.

The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce supports the business communities of Port Elgin, Southampton and Saugeen Township. It provides government representation for its members and promotes economic prosperity in Saugeen Shores and surrounding areas. 

Business owners can join the Chamber of Commerce to access networking, business support, special events, promotions and member discount programs. 

 

 

Bruce County provides a variety of grants and incentives to encourage business growth and community development in Saugeen Shores. 

One of the most popular programs is Spruce the Bruce, which is a community development grant that many local businesses have used to enhance their storefronts, public spaces and overall visitor experience. This grant helps cover improvements such as:
