Liquor Licences
Businesses in the Town of Saugeen Shores that serve alcoholic beverages are required to have a liquor licence. If you are planning a special event that involves the sale or consumption of alcohol, you may require a Special Occasion Permit.
Liquor Sales Licences
If your business requires a liquor licence, you can obtain one through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The AGCO administers the Liquor Licence Act, which controls the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in the Province of Ontario. Contact the AGCO to access the current regulations and forms.
You may be asked to submit the following forms as part of your application process.
Municipal Information Form |
If the AGCO requires you to submit a Municipal Information Form, please deliver the completed form to the Clerk's office at least 30 days prior to when you need to submit the form to the AGCO. |
Agency Letter of Approval |
If the AGCO requires you to submit an Agency Letter of Approval, you must submit a copy of this form to each the following:

You are responsible for collecting all completed and signed forms and submitting the documents to the AGCO. |
Special Occasion Permits
If you are planning a special event in a municipally owned building or public space and your event involves the sale or consumption of alcohol, you must comply with the Municipal Alcohol Policy.
