Hazardous Waste

Household hazardous waste is dangerous to throw in the garbage or wash down the drain. It could harm you and your family or the environment. You can dispose of hazardous waste during the Bruce County Hazardous Waste Days. Please do not dispose of commercial, agricultural, industrial, PCBs, ammunition or flares, as these will not be accepted. Only containers with a volume of 30 litres or less will be accepted.

2026 Hazardous Waste Days:

• Saturday, May 2: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Southampton Works Yard (429 Peel St, Southampton, ON)
• Saturday, September 26: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Southampton Works Yard (429 Peel St, Southampton, ON)
