The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program connects children from families in financial need to organized sports or programs (Minimum 3 classes / sessions) in their communities.

Families can receive up to $600 per child each year, depending on availability of local Jumpstart chapter funding.

To see if a family qualifies, Jumpstart looks at their income using  LICO (Low Income Cut-Off). Families will need to share their Canada Child Benefit (CCB) information, financial information, and complete a Jumpstart funding application. Jumpstart works closely with families to make the process as easy as possible.

The Town of Saugeen Shores 'Fill the Program' initiative provides financial assistance to families who wish to enroll their children in swimming lessons by allowing families in need to access unfilled classes.
