Driveway Permits
If you plan to install a driveway or entrance connecting to a municipally owned road, you must obtain a Driveway Permit before beginning work. Please allow at least two weeks for approval.
Note: It’s the homeowner’s responsibility to secure the permit and perform locates before getting started on a driveway.

Complete the Driveway Permit Application which outlines required dimensions and construction standards.
Review and Installation Process
After your application is submitted, an inspector will visit the site to assess the proposed location and specifications.
If the application is approved, we will notify you. A signed copy of your permit is available upon request.
Once the driveway or entrance is installed, contact Building Services to book a final inspection:

Permit Fee
Total fee: $312.00
Includes a $200 refundable deposit
$112 processing fee (non-refundable)
Payment must be made by Visa or Mastercard through the online application.
The $200 deposit will be refunded after the final inspection confirms the installation meets approved standards.
