Commissioner of Oaths

A Commissioner of Oaths is available by appointment at the Municipal Office to witness signatures on the following types of documents:

• Vehicle transfers / change of ownership
• Pension and banking forms
• Sworn declarations and affidavits
• Proof of life (pension documents)
• Canadian government forms
• Municipality and Bruce County forms (e.g. planning documents)

Once the oath is taken and signatures are witnessed, a commissioner’s stamp is affixed to the documents.
