2027 Community Donation Applications Now Open
The Town of Saugeen Shores is now accepting applications for funding through the Community Donation Policy.
This program provides financial and in-kind support to eligible non-profit organizations for projects, events, and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents.
Funding Categories
Applications may be submitted for initiatives that align with the following areas:
- Arts, Culture and Heritage
- Sports and Recreation
- Social, Health and Environmental
- Tourism
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Other community-based initiatives
Eligibility
Organizations must meet all eligibility requirements, including:
- Be an incorporated non-profit organization
- Have been operating for a minimum of one year
- Demonstrate a clear benefit to Saugeen Shores residents
- Be in good standing with the Town
Applicants are encouraged to review the full policy for detailed eligibility criteria.
Application Deadline
Applications open June 1 and must be submitted no later than September 1 at 4:30 p.m. for consideration in the following year’s budget.
Submission Requirements
Applications must:
- Be completed using the prescribed form
- Include a project budget and supporting financial information
- Be submitted by the deadline
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Additional Information
- Only one application per organization per year will be accepted
- Funding is intended to provide one-time or project-based support
- Successful applicants must complete a final report to receive funding
