A Zoning By-law Amendment is proposed to provide relief from the lot area, building height, and landscaped open space provisions of the Zoning By-law. A minor revision to the Draft Approved Plan of Subdivision is proposed to allow for the development of the apartment buildings on three separate lots.

Consent - B-2024-086 (Taylor)
Council heard a report regarding an application is to sever a +/- 1147 m2 residential lot from an existing +/- 2880 m2 residential lot. If approved, the application would facilitate the creation of a vacant residential lot at 28 Jay Street. There is a proposed condition of consent which would require the proponent to enter into an agreement with the municipality regarding the level of onsite wastewater treatment that would be required for the property. Town staff recommended a report be bought forward to Town Council confirming agreement with the proposed conditions.
This was defeated.
Subdivision Agreement – 395 High Street
Conditional Approval has been granted by the County of Bruce to sever two vacant residential lots from 395 High Street. A new fourplex building is proposed on each of the proposed severed lots. To develop the lands appropriately, municipal servicing must be extended from High Street along Grenville Street South to the southerly extent of the property. The By-law and Subdivision Agreement are included in the By-law Section of the Agenda.
This was carried.
