Council Meetings
Town Council meets on the second, third and fourth Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers. If a meeting falls on a public or civic holiday, it’s rescheduled to the next non-holiday weekday.
An Open Forum is available at the start of the second and fourth Monday meetings, allowing anyone to speak for up to three minutes on agenda items during the first 15 minutes.
A Consent Agenda section is where reports or other items may be considered collectively under one Motion. It is intended for routine items that don’t require discussion, like endorsements or reports for information.
Examples include; the endorsement of a resolution from another municipality, receiving a report for information or the approval of a routine report that has not substantively changed since the last time the report was approved by council. Council members can request to remove items if further discussion is needed.
Council Chambers are open to the public during Council Meetings. Meetings are also broadcast live on the Town’s YouTube channel.
