Arena and Sports Fields Needs Assessment
A partial update to the Recreation Master Plan was highlighted in the 2025 Business Plan for Community Services. Monteith Brown Planning Consultants conducted a Needs Assessment on arenas and sports fields to set priorities for the next decade. The report summarized the findings, outlines the work to advance in 2026, and includes future recommendations.

Water and Wastewater Master Plan
The final 2025 Water and Wastewater Master Plan incorporated further analysis and comments received since the Public Information Centre (July 17, 2025) and the update provided to Council on September 8, 2025. The Master Plan assesses the impact of growth on water and wastewater treatment capacity, water distribution and storage systems, and the wastewater collection system. Recommendations outlined in the Master Plan are included in the 2026 Business Plan for Council consideration.

2025 Quarter 3 Variance to Budget
The Variance to Budget report provided Council with a forecast of the financial operating results for the Town as of September 2025. The actual net income through the third quarter of the year is $16.6 million and is $0.5 million higher than budget.

Highway 21 and Turner Street (Bruce County Road 13) Intersection Improvement Project
The Town of Saugeen Shores retained GEI Canada Limited to provide engineering design services for the planned Highway 21 and Turner Street (Bruce County Road 13) Intersection Improvements Project. The report presented GEI’s design recommendations to Council for information and consideration.

Highway 21 Southampton Resurfacing Design
The Town of Saugeen Shores has retained R. J. Burnside & Associates Limited to provide engineering design services for the planned Resurfacing of Highway 21 from South Street to Craig Street Project. The report presented Burnside’s design recommendations to Council for information.
