Multiple rural roads in Saugeen Shores closed - March 6, 2025
Due to evolving weather conditions the Town of Saugeen Shores is closing the following rural roads as of 1:45pm March 6, 2025:

Sideroad 33/34 from Concession 2 to the Bruce Saugeen Townline

North Shore Road from McVicar to Concession 10
Vehicles using these roads have become stuck, endangering themselves and obstructing Town plows. Please stay off these roads.
Driving on a closed road is against the law and puts you and your passengers at risk. Abandoned vehicles may be towed and fined.
All other rural roads, and in-town roads in Port Elgin and Southampton currently remain open.
The Town will continue to monitor conditions and closures and provide further updates as they become available.
