Roads Status Update and End of Significant Weather Event
The Town of Saugeen Shores advises that the following road remains closed until further notice:

River Road from fire number 81 to fire number 222 (due to flooding at the south end). The remainder of River Road is open to local traffic.
All other roads are now open.
On March 6 at 10:00am, the Town of Saugeen Shores had declared a Significant Weather Event, pursuant to O. Reg. 239/02 of the provincial Municipal Act.
The Town of Saugeen Shores has now declared that Event over, as of 2:00pm on March 7, 2025, pursuant to the same regulation mentioned above.
