Rural Roads Considered Closed Within Town of Saugeen Shores

Due to ongoing weather conditions all rural roads within Saugeen Shores - former Saugeen Township roads - are considered closed as of 11:00 a.m. Numerous vehicles using these roads have become stuck, endangering themselves and obstructing Town plows. Please stay off these roads.

Driving on a closed road is against the law and puts you and your passengers at risk.  Abandoned vehicles may be towed and fined.

In-town roads in Port Elgin and Southampton currently remain open.
