Saugeen Shores Annual Heritage Conservation Award
Scott Good and Randy Schnarr have been selected as this year’s recipients of the Annual Heritage Conservation Award, sponsored by the Municipal Heritage Committee.
Randy Schnarr has enriched the cultural heritage of Saugeen Shores and Bruce County through decades of volunteer service and by leading the creation of heritage exhibits that preserve and share our local history.
Scott Good has shown outstanding commitment to heritage conservation through the restoration, maintenance, and promotion of important maritime heritage assets, including the Saugeen River Range Lights and Chantry Island structures.
The presentation of the award, honouring both Scott Good and Randy Schnarr, will take place at the Council Meeting scheduled for 6:30 pm. on Monday, September 14th, 2026 in the Council Chambers, located at 600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin.
