Saugeen Shores Releases 2025 Annual Report

At its February 23 meeting, Saugeen Shores Council received the Town‘s 2025 Annual Report, outlining the municipality’s work over the past year to advance the Pillars and Directions of the Town’s Strategic Plan. The report highlights key accomplishments achieved in 2025 and measures progress against the goals set out in the 2025 Business Plan. 

“The Annual Report shows how Council’s priorities are translated into action through the dedicated work of Town staff,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “It provides residents with a clear and transparent look at what has been accomplished, how we are performing as an organization, and how we continue to improve the services our community relies on.” 

Organized by department, the Annual Report provides an overview of Major Initiatives, as well as Division and Capital Highlights completed throughout the year. It also includes baseline data for each department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), helping track operational performance and progress over time. The report is designed to give residents, businesses, and partners a better understanding of the work carried out by the municipality over the past year.  

Looking ahead, the 2026 Business Plan outlines how Council is responsibly planning for the future by setting priorities, managing resources, and investing in projects and services that support a growing and sustainable community. Residents are encouraged to review the Business Plan to see how today’s decisions are shaping Saugeen Shores for the years ahead.
