The Town of Saugeen Shores is updating its website, and we want to hear from you! We're collecting feedback from residents to help us create a site that’s easy to navigate and provides the information you need. 

Since January 2025, the Town of Saugeen Shores has received several harassment complaints filed by Town staff involving non-employees. The Town takes these matters very seriously.  

It is with deep sadness that the Town of Saugeen Shores acknowledges the passing of former Southampton Mayor Lloyd Hale.

On Thursday, February 27 the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and the Town of Saugeen Shores celebrated the grand opening of the new Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic in Saugeen Shores. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to commemorate this milestone, with Deputy Mayor Diane Huber and Davina Wong, Associate Vice President, Home and Community Care at VON, officially opening the location. 

The Town of Saugeen Shores has taken another step forward in its mission to increase the supply of affordable housing in the community. Last night, Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Town of Saugeen Shores, Habitat for Humanity and Wilson Developments. 

Last night, Council approved an Amending Agreement for 2706913 Ontario Inc. to continue momentum on the construction of Cedar Crescent Village (CCV) at the Port Elgin Main Beach. 

On Monday, February 24, 2025, Saugeen Shores Council will be presented the request to extend the deadlines for 2706913 Ontario Inc. for the Cedar Crescent Village (CCV) waterfront project.
