Saugeen Shores By-law Enforcement helps create a safe and enjoyable community for all residents by ensuring that Municipal By-laws are followed. We are available as a resource to the community to answer any questions or concerns relating to By-laws and other enforcement issues.
Inquiries and complaints
If you have a By-law inquiry or complaint, contact us at 519-832-2008 ext. 138 or use our online Report a Concern form.
Please include your name, address and telephone number. Complaints without this information will not be investigated. Your information will be kept confidential.
If immediate assistance is required outside of regular hours, please contact Saugeen Shores Police Service at 519-832-2500 (non-emergencies only).
Paying tickets
There are three different ways you can pay for By-law infractions.
In person |
You can pay By-law tickets in person from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Saugeen Shores Police Station, 1240 MacKenzie Rd, Port Elgin. Accepted payment methods include cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, cheque or money order payable to “Town of Saugeen Shores.” |
After hours |
You can pay By-law tickets after hours by submitting your ticket and payment into our after-hours mailbox at the Town Office, 600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin. If you are submitting payment after normal business hours, please pay by cheque or money order. Do not leave cash. |
